Footbath with bath salts

You can try this process at home instead of spending money at the spas. Buy some fine quality bath salts and mix a few pinches it with some amount of hot water and soak your feet inside the pot for at least 15-30 mints. Now scrub your feet with a pumice stone or a soft loofah so that the extra dirt comes out.

Epsom salt soak

The minerals of Epsom of bath salts are rich in magnesium and sodium. These two agents help in cleaning as well as rejuvenating the tired cells. They also revitalize the whole tired body. The hot water helps in opening the pores of the feet and allows the salt minerals to get absorbed into the skin.

Baking soda cleaning

Baking soda has anti-bacterial agents which help in improving the immunity of human body. Also, it is an efficient cleaning agent that helps in preventing infections and several bacterial attacks in feet. Mix a cup of rice water which is left after cooking rice with half teaspoon of baking soda and soak your feet for instant cleansing. This is great to recover your feet from fungal infection and improves blood circulation.

Foot treatment with sandalwood

 You can apply a mix of sandalwood powder with some essential oil and honey and apply as a pack on your feet to make it brighter and cleaner. Also, the pack helps in reducing the tendency of odor formation when you wear boots. You can also add a few drops of sandalwood essential oil in a bucket of lukewarm water and dip your feet in it. This soak is also effective for rejuvenation of your feet.

Ylang Ylang essential oil

This is the essential oil of the tropical trees grown in Java, Sumatra, Madagascar etc areas. Using a few drop of this oil in some water diluted with a pinch of Epsom salt can form an excellent soak for your tired feet.
